The reason behind DearSweetAru's name is quite simple: it popped in my head. When I was roughly twelve one of my online friends gave me the nickname "Aru-chan", because my other nickname, Al, would be pronounced "Aru" in Japanese and the suffix "-chan" is how you would refer to someone younger than you (there's more behind it than that, but yeah). I got attached to the name, thus it being part of the site name. "Dear" and "Sweet" just popped into my head when I was trying to think of a new name for forums (I was tired of using Meep, SlySwiftStalker, and various other names). I've become rather partial to Aru and DearSweetAru, though I am now referred to by "Ru" or "Allie/Ally" these days. I have been drawing for as long as I can remember and am an all around artist. I like to consider myself a Renaissance man, because my talents aren't limited. I draw, sew, sing, dance (it's not my best talent out of all of them, but I do do it), paint, write, make computer graphics, take photos, and anything that allows me to create. I would like to become a cartoonist or a comic book artist; anything to get my work out there. Currently I am working on receiving an AA in Fine Arts and Graphics Communications. Eventually, I want to own an art shop where I shall sell my wares, including my artwork and cooking! I think it'd be simply fantastic. That way I can be myself in a comfortable setting. I'd have fun cooking certain items only during certain parts of the days. Randomly I'd change up the layout of the store to make my customers have to search through the place for their items forcing them to see other pieces they would normally overlook otherwise; that and it keeps it nice, fresh, and new. I want it to be in a nice area not too far away from wherever I end up residing. I could have my children work there for work experience too. I don't really care if it gets totally rich or anything; it's the fun and happiness I care about.
